As IT of the REWE Group Austria, we work together with our more than 700 employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade.

Within our team, forecast & replenishment we are responsible for the goods supply in Austria and eight CEE countries. Based on our AI solutions we are able to predict future demands alongside the supply chain and doing our best to fully automate the store ordering process. Deine Aufgaben

  • Responsible for the lifecycle software development in context of supply chain forecasting and optimization with well designed, efficient and testable code
  • Design and build products that are scalable in an international context together with your team
  • Help shape our technical landscape together with our Solution Architects
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching for team members
  • Promote knowledge transfer and documentation standards

Dein Profil

  • Completed technical education with focus on IT (HTL, FH, TU) or comparable qualification
  • Proven years of experience as a data engineer. Preferred with Snowflake, PostgresSQL background
  • Strong emphasis in cloud computing an architecture in general (Google Cloud, Docker, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of Java backend development with Spring (Boot)
  • Team player who likes to share and discuss ideas yet willing to take technical decisions
  • Familiar with agile working methods and its principals would be beneficial
  • B2 English proficiency, German is a plus
